A Victorian Oak Stick & Ball Motif Art Easel, United States, c. Early 20th Century. This Turn of the Century Victorian Easel would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak construction shows stunning stick & ball motifs throughout, accompanied by bent rattan – It’s truly a stunning piece. This Easel is solid and sturdy enough to display medium to large framed pieces of art, or could be used as a live painting artists easel. The display subject sits on two aged brass hooks on each side of the oak frame. Each hook is height adjustable and very durable, they’re nicely aged. The back stand sits back to the lowest point of the floor, which levels the easel perfectly, a brass chain has been added to this area. The piece is unsigned or marked.
