A Victorian Quartersawn Oak Carved Lion’s Head Motif Library Table, c. Early 20th Century. This Table would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep ebony finish. Throughout, you’ll enjoy traditional details along with hand carved motifs; This includes four lion’s heads carved into each corner of the table. The large turned legs adds a great look from all angles, it’s attached by a scalloped wishbone bottom skirt, which can also serve as a foot rest if the piece is used as a writing desk. There aren’t any drawers along the side panels and all sides are finished for display. The underside is unsigned or marked.
