A remarkable piece, showing traces of early American craftsmanship. Allow this piece to compliment your estates dining area just perfectly, or even as a wine bar. This sideboard is crafted of solid oak, with a drastic quartersawn grain throughout. The backsplash features a mirrored back, which includes the original beveled glass. Small select area of the glass shows silver loss and haze, this could be seen in our photos. You’ll also enjoy the heavily detailed Northwind Face carved into the top crown, as well as winged griffins on each side. The entire backspash is screwed onto the piece, and can be removed to transport. You’ll find storage at its best including a large surface area, 2 different sized drawers and double doors beneath leading to storage and shelf space. This piece was refinished at some point in its life, although it was not recently done. You will find scratches, finish blems and minor chips. We take out photos in direct natural lighting to show off the grain and wear as much as possible.
