A Pair of Victorian Quartersawn Oak Parlor Lounge Chairs with Lion’s Paw Feet, c. Early 20th Century. This Pair of Chairs would look exceptional while staged in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. Each Chair was professionally reupholstered during the Mid 20th Century, using a high quality marigold floral motif fabric. The textile is soft and free of any rips, stains or odors. The elongated backrests adds a great look to the overall design. The Lion’s Paw front feet are heavily carved and nicely detailed, they include the originally caster wheels. The underside of each Chair is unmarked or signed.
