This Antique Victorian Serpentine Front Bonnet Dresser Chest would make a great additional to your estates bedroom suit. This piece is crafted of solid oak, finished with a quartersawn oak veneer. This piece offers storage at its best with 4 large stacked drawers, along with a double door bonnet cabinet on the top. Each drawer opens and closes as it should, and it embellished with aged Victorian Brass pulls; The bottom drawer is missing its pulls. Throughout, you’ll enjoy carved accenting, hand beveled surface areas along with a large mirror which includes the original glass (in great shape). The piece was most likely refinished at some point in the pieces life, although it was not recently if so. You’ll find surface scratches, minor chips and blems, a series of areas on the surface top shows finish stains and loss of finish, as well as shown on the drawer fronts, and mirror frame; There is also a carved piece on the front of the left bonnet door that has been chipped.
