This Victorian Writing Desk was crafted during the 1920’s. It’s unusual design including bookshelf sides gives this piece plenty of staging options in an array of interior styles. Writing Desks with bookshelf sides are commonly seen in Arts & Crafts style, within the same era – This is very uncommon for a Victorian piece. You’ll enjoy solid oak construction which shows a drastic quartersawn grain throughout. The finished back is perfect to face the center of a room, or against a wall. The single center drawer is spacious, it opens and closes as it should. This piece was professionally refinished at some point in its life, although it was not done recently. Mild wear is to be expected, this includes surface scratches, minor chips and finish blemishes.
