Almost every upscale estate we visit has a bowed/curved china on display – It completes a room like no other! This particular bowed china is completely quarter-sewn oak which has a drastic grain throughout. The 3 back panels are mirrored glass and the front and sides are antiquarian curved glass – All which are original to the piece. To our surprised, this china has a small light fixture on the inside top, which is hidden very well, this light fixture is antique and would illuminate all of the glass. The two shelves are cut glass and are shaped with the curve of the piece. The curved glass door opens and closes as it should and is accompanied by a Victorian aged brass dangle pull and brass key hole (key not included). Overall, this piece is in very shape shape with expected wear which comes with age. Wear can include scratches, minor chips and blems, there is a very small chip on the corner of the front glass door, which can be seen in our high resolution photo gallery
