This Pair of Boudoir Chairs were crafted during the Late 19th Century. This Set would compliment an estates Foyer, Parlor or even a Boudoir Room. The balloon backrests are absolutely stunning and displays rich carved details, all in solid walnut. Each chair was reupholstered at some point in its life, there aren’t any holes or rips shown in the upholstery. The soft pink textile is exceptionally soft, just by touching it – you can tell it’s a high quality thread. It appears the original horse hair fill was kept to preserve the authenticity of each chair. This pair is exceptionally sturdy once seated – Great to use as daily seats! The bottom of each chair has its original white porcelain caster wheels – a nice touch! This set is in very nice condition for its age, you will find mild wear to the walnut finish, include surface scratches, minor chips and blems.
