One of the most exceptional Blanket Chest’s that we’ve obtained – Frozen in time! As you may already know, Lane manufactured some of the highest quality blanket chests in the United States. They’re known for their quality craftsmanship, durability and longevity. That particular Chest by Lane was apart of their “Sweetheart” collection in the late 1960’s. This chest was stored away, and was never used, it even has the original Lane hang tag from the manufacture. This chest has a low profile, which is ideal for laundry rooms, entry ways and bedrooms. The vinyl cushion top lifts up after pushing the Lane embellished brass button. The inside is very spacious, and is cedar lined. The walnut veneer shines great and does not have any chipped areas. While being stored, the top cushion has a small rip and a pressure point, which are both shown in our photos. As this chest is in really nice shape, you will find light surface scratches and minor blems. We do not have a key available to lock the chest, it remains unlocked.
