A Pair of Sculpted Nightstands by Bassett, United States, c.1960. This Pair of Nightstands looks exceptional while staged in a bedroom suite, they also serve great as end tables. The cherry veneer shows a handsome grain throughout. Each Nightstand has a single storage drawer, each drawer opens and closes as it should. Additional open storage space is found below, this adds a unique look. Stunning pin legs adds a nice touch. The backside is marked “Tempo”
Condition:
While each Nightstand is exceptionally well made, solid and sturdy, mild wear is shown. One nightstand shows wear to the top which can only be noticed in direct lighting, we’ve taken our photos in daylight to exaggerate the wear. Small areas of surface scratches are shown as well as chipped veneer on the side corner of one nightstand, and a chip near the drawer. These areas are circled in our photo gallery to reference.
