Mid-Century Danish Modern Walnut Inlaid Travel Bar Box w/ 4 Glasses

A Walnut Inlaid Horse Motif Travel Bar Box with 4 Glasses, Yugoslavia, c. Mid 20th Century. This Travel Bar Box would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. This uniquely crafted box would make a nice display upon a server or bar. The walnut shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by an original satin finish. The top surface shows an inlaid horse motif, which is made up of mixed wood species, it creates sensational contrast while paired with the walnut. The hinged top opens and closes as it should, the box has an aged brass escutcheon – But there’s no key included, the box remains unlocked. The clean interior includes 4 gold lined shot glasses, each sits within a grooved frame. The interior of the box would hold two liquor bottles, a neck groove is shown along each side of the box. The box had a music box at one time, this would have likely played once the box was opened – The music no longer plays. The underside is marked Yugoslavia as well as the box makers initials.
