A Large Brutalist Brass Birds in Flight Sculpture on Stone Base, c.1970. This Monumental Sized Sculpture would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The hammered brass trio of birds are shown soaring in a circular formation. The brass shows great texture with overall sculpted lines, it’s quite stunning. The solid stone base offers perfect contrast and supports the unusual proportions of the birds. The underside of the stone includes a canvas bottom, although adding a piece of adhesive back felt would be recommended when displaying this piece on valuable furniture.
