A Mid-Century Modern Beech Wood Sculpted Gentleman’s Valet Seat, c.1960. This Valet Seat would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The solid beech wood shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep original finish. The finish pairs nicely with many Mid-Century designer pieces of this era, perfect for staging. The Valet includes the original accessory tray upon top of the hanger, this area shows a sculpted grooved center and hanging bar along the back side. The backrest shows sensational lines, it was very well designed. The original off white vinyl upholstered seat offers perfect contrast while paired with the wood finish, it’s both comfortable and of very high quality. The tapered legs are embellished with brass capped bottoms. The underside of the Valet is unsigned or marked.
