An Atomic Wall Hanging Mirrored Shadow Box, United States, c.1960. This Monumental sized Atomic Shadow Box would look exceptional while hung in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The solid solid wood frame is lacquered in an original ivory finish, embellished with gold. The double mirror design is accompanied by a mirrored glass frame, which follows the entire outline of the piece – It’s very unique. Each mirror panel is recessed into the shadow box, providing plenty of display space for indoor plants or a collection alike. Each side of the piece has a small planter which look be perfect for a small succulent or fern. The center of the shadowbox shows a double atomic star motif, it contrasts nicely. The backside includes two hooks for hanging. This piece is unsigned or marked.
