A Pair of Heywood Wakefield Dog Bone Dining Chairs with Cowhide Seats, United States, c.1950. This Pair of Chairs would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Each Chair is crafted of solid birch wood, displaying the original champagne finish. The Pair was professionally reupholstered during the 1980’s using authentic Cowhide, it offers a stunning contrast and pairs nicely with most Mid-Century designer pieces. The iconic “Dog Bone” backrest of each chair shows great character. The underside of each chair shows the Heywood Wakefield mark.
