A Pair of Bentwood Black Lacquered Arm Chairs by Thonet, United States, c.1960. This Pair of Chairs would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Each Chair is crafted of plied Beechwood, which shows a drastic grain throughout accompanied by its original finish. The sculpted arms of each chair flows seamlessly into the legs, giving this pair an appealing look from all angles. The back rest and seat of the pair is finished in a black lacquer, this is original. The underside of each chair has the Thonet Park Avenue paper label, although it is heavily faded from age.
