A Bentwood Blonde Writing Desk by Thonet, United States, c.1960. This Writing Desk would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The rectangle laminated top offers a spacious writing area, accompanied by a single storage drawer which is nicely recessed inside of the top while closed. The drawer opens and closes as it should and is embellished with a brushed steel pull. The sides and back are finished in a beech wood veneer. The solid beech wood legs are nicely sculpted, showing Thonets iconic bentwood accenting. The inside drawer shows the original Thonet label.
