A Twin Gooseneck Teak Floor Lamp designed by Gerald Thurston, United States, c.1950. This unusually designed floor lamp would compliment an array of interior styles, it was skillfully crafted. The twin brass gooseneck offers a flexible neck to style to your desire. The woven natural shades are in great condition and are not original to the lamp – Although true to its era. This lamp likely displayed a pair of fiberglass cone shades, facing downwards. The body of the lamp is nicely styled with double teak swells with a brass bottom. The teak contrasts off the brass nicely and shows areas of wear. This lamp shows surface scratches, finish blemishes as well as areas of the brass that is tarnished. The lamp works as it should and does not have to be rewired.
