This is undoubtedly one of the best Executive Desks we’ve seen designed by Edward Axel Roffman with the quality you’d expect from a Roffman piece. This desk is large and exceptionally heavy, great to compliment an office or library. The walnut veneer finish shows a drastic grain throughout and would compliment an array of interior styles. The waterfall edge sides provides great lines and shows appeal from every angle its viewed from. The finished back is a nice touch and perfect for facing the center of the room. This desk offers storage at its best with five oak construction drawers, all of which are very deep and offer a tremendous amount of space. The origonal Edward Axel Roffman label could be seen on the top left drawer. There is a lock on each side of the knee clearance which locks all drawers, although there is no key included, each drawer remains unlocked. Each side of the desk includes a pull out writing surface which is finished in a matching walnut veneer. Overall, this piece is in nice condition and is very sturdy. You will find areas of chipped veneer, surface scratches and finish blemishes, all of which is highlighted in our photo gallery for reference.
