A Mid-Century Modern Walnut Shelf Unit Cabinet with Pendant Lights, United States, c.1960. This Shelf Unit would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The piece is finished in a walnut veneer, which shows a drastic grain throughout. The deep satin finish is original to the piece, it corresponds with many Mid-Century Designer Pieces – It makes a great addition to an already furnished space. The 3 tiered shelves are offset at different height, perfect to display indoor plants, books or a collection alike. Each shelves side member is crafted of brushed brass, it creates a sensational contrast along side of the walnut. The two pendent lights work off a multi-function switch, to control each light independently. While the shades aren’t original, they suit the piece well – Each shade is removable and can be replaced to your desire. The bottom cabinet offers open storage space, each door opens and closes as it should and includes elongated sculpted walnut handles. This piece is unsigned or marked.
