An Art Deco Bronzed Plaster Horse Head Sculpture by James Spratt, United States, c.1978. This Sculpture was crafted by James Spratt in collaboration with Austin Productions. The solid plaster horse bust is exceptionally heavy and shows stunning realism details throughout. The piece is lacquered to appear as aged bronze. Despite the heads unusually proportions, it stands upright on its own without any wobble. The underside shows a felt bottom to display on any surface. The backside of the piece is signed J. Spratt Austin Prod 1978.
