A Pair of Art Deco Cast Metal Horse Bookends, United States, c. Mid 20th Century. This Pair of Bookends would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. Each Bookend is crafted of cast metal, likely aluminum. Each of the Horses heads mirrors one another, showing stunning details throughout. The sculpted base of each is a great Art Deco look. The underside of each bookend is unsigned or marked. Only one bookend has a felted bottom
Condition:
This Pair is in good condition with a stunning aged finish. Mild patina could be seen as well as tarnishing. A small crack in the cast is shown to one bookend, under the horses head. This area is circled in our photo gallery to reference.
