An Art Deco Porcelain Kodiak Bear Ashtray, Alaska, c. 1962. This Porcelain Ashtray shows timeless flare, it makes a great display piece. This piece was a studio pottery piece, made as a gift. The underside is signed “For Millie, Made by Mickey McBride 1962 Kodiak Alaska”. The large Brown Bear upon top shows great details and contrasts nicely off the emerald green hull. The hull is nicely styled and Art Deco influenced. There’s 3 cigarette sized rests, although the piece would work for cigars as well.
Condition:
A chip is shown on the front of the piece, this is circled in our photo gallery to reference. Mild signs of use are shown in the hull.
