An Art Nouveau Gold Gilded Cast Metal Trinket Box, c. Mid 20th Century. This Trinket Box would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The box is crafted of pot metal, and is finished in an original gold gilding. Throughout, you’ll enjoy sensational cast details, including floral motifs in an Art Nouveau fashion – The Box is quite stunning. The hinged lid opens and closes as it should, and shows a clean interior. The underside of the Box is unmarked or signed.
Condition:
This Trinket Box was exceptionally well made and is in overall good condition. A hole along the top can be seen, as well as a crack in the cast along the side. Traditional patina to the finish is consistent with age. These areas are circled in our photo gallery to reference.
