A Maple Farmhouse Library Desk and Chair by Cushman, c.1930s. This Desk and Chair would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid Rock Maple shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by an original satin finish. The Desk features a spacious top surface, dovetailed drawers and exposed dowel construction. Each Drawer opens and closes as it should and includes tendon style pulls. Both the Desk and Chair offers notes of Arts & Crafts meets Farmhouse, making this set quite versatile for staging. Both the Desk and Chair are marked Cushman Colonial Creations – The Serial Number dates the Set to 1935-1938.
