An Arts & Crafts Hammered Bronze Inkwell & Letter Holder Desk Set, c.1930. This Desk Set would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each piece is crafted of solid bronze with a hammered texture. The double inkwell features two hinged tops that are nicely decorated with a embossed motif. Each glass ink cup is removable for cleaning and includes pivoting “open/close” tops. Between each inkwell is an accessory slope for small items. The large pen rest front offers a tremendous amount of open storage space. The matching letter holder shows a traditional embossed motif along front – It’s a nice touch. The underside of each piece is marked Silver Crest Bronze.
Condition:
This Desk Set is in overall good condition. Surface scratches and patina is shown to the finish. The glass inkwells are free of any cracks or chips, signs of use are shown.
