An Arts & Crafts Mahogany Bankers Library Swivel Chair, Untied States, c.1949. This Chair would look exceptional while displayed in an array of office or library styles. The solid mahogany shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep finish. The tall slated back adds a great look from all angles. The seat shows stunning edge work with a dip center for comfort. The Chair sits on its original brass swivel, which attaches to the slightly curved legs. Each leg includes a urethane caster wheel. The underside of the Chair is marked W.H Gunlocke Chair Company, Wayland NY 1949.
