Vintage Boho Chic Rattan Bamboo Bookshelf Stand

A Boho Chic Rattan Bookshelf Stand, United States, c. Mid 20th Century. This piece would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles – Great for books, house plants or a collection a like! The piece is crafted of solid rattan with woven cane accenting. The piece shows a stunning ellipse motif which translates around, this is made up of thinner bent rattan pieces. The bottoms and sides of the lower shelf are a hardwood, likely a tropical mahogany. Each shelf would support a generous amount of weight and is quite spacious. The underside of this piece is unmarked or signed.

Condition:

This piece was exceptionally well made, its solid and does not shake or wobble. Surface scratches, minor chips the blemishes are shown. The top shelf shows a series of black stains upon top, this appears to be a lacquer. The corner of the top shelf shows loosened and missing woven caning.
