A Tortoise Shell Rattan Hanging Mirror with Folding Shelf, United States, c. Mid 20th Century. This uniquely designed shelf would make an exceptional hanging boudoir (or gentleman’s) mirror. The complete Rattan construction shows a Tortoise Shell finish, it’s quite stunning. The flip down retractable shelf is level and would hold a small collection of trivets or a small indoor plant. The mirror appears to be original and is in great condition. The piece comes ready to hang with small hooks upon back. The piece is unsigned or marked.
