For the majority of the 20th Century Lane produced some of the highest quality Cedar Chests, Tables and other assorted pieces. Lane’s “Bench Chests” are always a sought after style because of its practicably around an estate. The black vinyl top is cushioned, making it great to sit upon. The vinyl is in good condition and was recently conditioned, you will notice a small hole upon top, this is circled in our photo gallery for reference. The carved chest front is drastic, almost a “brutalist” motif. Within the chest you’ll enjoy Lanes signature cedar interior, which is in pristine condition, we’re not positive if this chest was ever actually used to store anything. The iconic button lock by Lane is in tact, the chest remains unlocked as we do not have the key to lock the chest. This chest stands on large casters to easily transport around your estate, these are removable to your desire.
