A Pair of Cast Iron Labrador Dog Fireplace Andirons by Liberty Foundry, St. Louis, c.1950. This Pair of Andirons would compliment an array of fireplace styles. The cast iron is nicely aged, still showing their original black lacquer – This pair was not repainted. The cast shows stunning details, each dog mirrors one another. The back log rests shows its age and use, although both are solid and pivot adjustable. The backside of each Andiron is marked Liberty Foundry.
