This Pair of Shou Lao & Guan Yin Chinese Statues were crafted in Asia, during the Mid 20th Century. This pair is exceptionally made and displays stunning hand carved details throughout. Each piece is crafted of solid rosewood and shows a drastic grain accompanied by a deep finish. In Ancient Chinese Culture, Shou Lao is known as the God of Longevity and Guan Yin is the Goddess of Mercy. Each figure is in nice condition with mild surface scratches from age. Natural splits in the wood are shown as well.
