A Chinese Porcelain & Enamel Figural Motif Ginger Jar Urn, c. Mid 20th Century. This Chinese Ginger Jar would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The porcelain is decorated throughout in hand painted enamel, the color palette is both vibrant and bright. The Jar shows a lovely figural motif along each side, accompanied by birds of paradise, floral accents and traditional details. The matching lid fits upon top as it should, it shows the ongoing motif. The Ginger Jar stands on a carved hardwood base which is finished in a black lacquer – It offers sensational contrast. The underside of the Ginger Jar is marked in Chinese.
