A Traditional Oak Machinist Tool Chest Box, c.1930. This Machinist Chest would look exceptional while displayed in a workspace or studio. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep aged finish. Each corner of the Box shows exposed joinery construction, it’s quite stunning. The hinged top opens and closes as it should and includes two steel latches. A key is included, although the lock often sticks, it will have to be oiled and adjusted – It is kept unlocked. The hardware and hinges were replaced during the 1960’s by the original owner. The interior is spacious and clean.
