Vintage French Regency Carved Mahogany Upholstered Window Bench Settee

A French Regency Style Mahogany Window Bench, United States, c.1980’s. This piece would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. The piece is crafted of solid mahogany, showing a faux aged finish which is lacquered on top of the wood. Throughout, you’ll enjoy carved motifs accompanied by drastic styled arm rests. The overall style of the piece is great for under a window, the end of a bed or making it the focal point of a room. The cream vertical striped upholstery contrasts nicely off the darker finish, the fabric used is of high quality and includes removable bottom cushions and a finished back. The underside of the piece is unmarked of signed.

Condition:

This piece was exceptionally well made, its solid and sturdy. Mild surface scratches are shown to the wood finish as well as a small series of stains to the upholstery, these are circled in our photo gallery to reference. The piece easily supports two adults and doesn’t have any wobble.
