This stunning Pair of Jardiniere’s were crafted in India during the Mid 20th Century. Each Planter features stunning hand painted details which shows an orchestrated parade scene, in which an elephant is carrying a king. Above and below you’ll enjoy a traditional motif in gold, which accents the pieces nicely. This pair is made of ceramic with a high gloss lacquer finish. This lacquered finish makes maintenance low, and the inside is finished alike with a red lacquer. Judging by the condition, we don’t believe the pair was ever used for live plants, although they would look stunning with an indoor plant. This pair is in really nice condition, you will notice small blemishes in the finish a long the rim as shown in our photo gallery.
