This Dragonware Porcelain Vase was crafted in Japan during the Mid 20th Century. This Vase is made of porcelain and is heavily detailed throughout showing a dragon motif. The cobalt blue is unique for this style and contrasts nicely off the vibrant hand painted colors that were used. This piece has a great feel to it and shows many different textures. The embossed dragon, the matte painted finishing and the high gloss porcelain glaze all compliment each other. This vase was previously used with live plants, the inside shows signs of use, although there are no cracks or major chips shown to the exterior of the vase. The underside of the vase is marked “Made in Japan”.
