A Japanese Porcelain Cobalt Blue Foo Dog Motif Pedestal Urn, c. Mid 20th Century. This Compote Bowl would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The porcelain is accompanied by hand painted motifs in a contrasting cobalt blue. Throughout, you’ll enjoy traditional accenting, Japanese motifs and a sculpted Foo Dog finial lid. The lid shows a heavier detailed motif, including Immortal Qin Gao riding a Carp. The double handles adds timeless flare to the overall design. The underside of the piece is unsigned or marked.
Condition:
This Compote is in overall good condition without any cracks or chips. Mild surface scratches could be seen from age.
