Vintage Karastan Rugs need no introduction, especially the Kirman 717 Series by Karastan. This 100% woven wool rug offers a low to medium 1/4 inch pile, making this rug very easy to care for. All of the knot and fringe work is in tact without any tear or strays, the fringe shows minimal discoloration, but can be bleached with a brush upon cleaning. This Karastan shows vibrant colors and a great Kirman pattern that we all love. This 2×4 size is great for an entry way, library or hall way, a very versatile sized rug. The rug overall is clean for its age without any damage to the pile or rips. We have not wet-cleaned the rug, only a vacuum followed by rolling, shrink wrapping and stored in a climate controlled room.
