This rug is identified as Design 717 “Multi-Color Panel Kirman”; The Kirman series rugs by Karastan are one of the more sought after collections. This rug was from a socialites estate in Dallas, Pennsylvania, the estate featured all Karastan rugs. The rugs from the estate were all kept very clean, smoke-free and pet free. We’ve also deep cleaned this rug, and is stored in a climate controlled environment. The rugs colors are vibrant, with a soft wool pile. The pictures shown were taken outdoors in direct natural light to display all of the details and imperfections in the rug. Areas of fringes have been shortened, or cut and you will find slight discoloration in some areas of the fringes.
