Vintage Large Childs Ride On Elephant Stuffed Toy on Wheels

This Mid 20th Century Ride On Toy was skillfully crafted, and very well made. Some many refer to this as Steiff, although without a label we’re unable to verify. There aren’t any markings or tag any where on this piece. This Elephant came out of a collectors estate, which featured only Steiff and Early European stuffed animals – It was quite an impressive collection. Each wheel rolls freely, and the metal frame is completely intact. Aside from the mild damage to select areas, we’d say this piece is in very nice shape for its age, without any holes or rips. The elephants ears and tusks appear to have been replaced at some point in time. By moving the elephants tail, you also move the elephants trunk in the same direction – Very unique!
