A Traditional Sculpted Monkey Pod Water Buffalo Motif Toothpick Holder, c. Mid 20th Century. This Unique Toothpick Holder would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The solid Monkey Pod Wood shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by an original satin finish. The piece shows a heavily detailed water buffalo with a man riding upon top. A series of holes in the figures hat was originally meant to display toothpicks. The underside of the piece is unsigned or marked.
