A Victorian Brass & Iron Figural Griffin Motif Plant Stand, c.Mid 20th Century. This Plant Stand would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid cast iron stand is accompanied by hammered brass accents, which offers sensational contrast while paired with one another. This “basket style” stand would accommodate a planter, jardiniere or terracotta pot up to 8″. The top features a Traditional Barley Twist Column motif with Figural Griffins around the stem of the stand – It’s quite stunning. The legs are nicely styled, adding timeless flare to the overall design. The underside is unsigned or marked.
