You seldom come across French Pendant Lights this nice, not to mention the condition this one is in! This French Pendant Light came straight out of an estate in Astoria, Queens. The cut glass orb along with the fully aged brass crown and bottom looks absolutely stunning while lit. The most eye-catching feature about this particular French Pendant Light is the 3 “fighting” swans along the bottom. Swans are often seen in French Empire pieces, although we’ve haven’t been able to locate one quite like this. The light was rewired at some point, which is a plus! Included is the original ceiling plate cover which finishes off the light perfectly once hung. From the ceiling to the top of the crown is 7 inches. This French Empire Pendant Light is in very good shape for its age. The brass has aged to perfection, and the glass doesn’t have any cracks or chips; It shows its age nicely.
