This Pair of Nubian Princess Heads were sold by American Art Industries in New York. The company was best known during the 1950’s as an import hub to buy eclectic imported pieces from other countries. It’s unknown where exactly this pair is from, although they’re absolutely stunning and would make great show pieces. Each bust includes a hollowed out interior with a small drain hole, displaying these with plants would look great. The hand painted details are vibrant and shows no discoloration. They’re sculpted of plaster, and are relativity heavy in weight. The felted bottoms serve as a non-scratch barrier for your furniture.
